Aplikasi Gerbang Logika untuk Pembuatan Prototipe Penjemur Ikan Otomatis

Telah dilakukan penelitian tentang aplikasi gerbang logika untuk pembuatan prototipe penjemur ikan otomatis. Pada penelitian ini digunakan gerbang logika sebagai pengendali alat dari bagian elektronik dan bagian mekanik. Pada bagian elektroniknya digunakan sensor hujan, sensor cahaya, sensor pelacak cahaya serta motor DC dan motor stepper. Prinsip kerja dari alat ini adalah sensor hujan akan mendeteksi adanya hujan dan sensor cahaya akan mendeteksi cahaya. Jika tidak terjadi hujan dan terdapat sumber cahaya maka gerbang logika mengontrol motor Direct Current (DC) untuk membuka pintu kotak pengering ikan. Saat pintu dari kotak pengering terbuka maka motor stepper akan menggerakkan papan pengering dan sensor pelacak cahaya mulai bekerja untuk mencari sumber cahaya. Namun jika terjadi hujan dan tidak ada cahaya atau terjadi hujan dan ada cahaya, maka gerbang logika mengontrol motor DC agar pintu kotak tertutup. Pengujian alat dilakukan dengan cara mengukur tegangan yang dihasilkan dari masing-masing sensor. Tegangan yang dihasilkan dari sensor hujan sebesar 2,91 Volt saat kondisi hujan dan kondisi kering sebesar 0,02 Volt. Pada sensor cahaya saat kondisi terang (ada cahaya) tegangan yang dihasilkan sebesar 3,20 Volt dan kondisi gelap sebesar 3,82 Volt. Begitu juga dengan sensor pelacak cahaya, saat kondisi terang tegangan yang dihasilkan sebesar 4,23 Volt dan kondisi gelap sebesar 4,01 Volt. Hasil pengujian alat menujukkan bahwa alat dapat bekerja sesuai dengan rancangan.
