Kondisi musiman Arus Geostropik Permukaan di Perairan Laut Jawa Hingga Laut Arafuru

Penelitian tentang kondisi musiman arus geostropik permukaan di sepanjang Laut Jawa hingga Laut Arafuru telah dilakukan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis kecepatan arus geostropik di sepanjang Laut jawa hingga Laut Arafuru. Perhitungan arus geostropik menggunakan data Mean Dynamic Topography (MDT) dan Sea Level Anomaly (SLA). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan adanya perbedaan arus geostropik permukaan setiap musim. Arus geostropik permukaan paling tinggi terjadi pada musim barat dengan kecepatan rata "“rata sebesar 0,49 m/s dan arus geostropik paling lemah terjadi pada peralihan musim barat ke musim timur dengan kecepatan sebesar 0,35 m/s.
