Studi Teoritik Respon Optik Two-Level System Semiconductor Quantum Dots

Telah dilakukan penelitian teoritik untuk mempelajari respon optik Semiconductor Quantum Dots (SQD) ketika dieksitasi dengan cahaya monokromatik. SQD yang ditinjau dimodelkan sebagai two-level system yang terdiri dari keadaan dasar dan satu keadaan tereksitasi. Formalisme matematis yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode density matrix yang solusinya diselesaikan secara analitik maupun numerik untuk mendapatkan osilasi Rabi dan spektrum SQD. Dari hasil yang diperoleh tampak bahwa karakteristik osilasi Rabi dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor antara lain: selisih energi cahaya datang dengan energi resonance, intensitas cahaya datang, dan konstanta damping SQD. Sementara, hasil perhitungan spektrum menunjukkan bahwa lebar garis spektrum energi serapan SQD dipengaruhi oleh intensitas cahaya datang. Hal ini mengkonfirmasi gejala power-broadening.
