Analisis Unsur Cuaca Pada Saat Kejadian Siklon Tropis Haiyan Menggunakan Model Wrf (Weather Research And Forecasting)

Haiyan merupakan siklon tropis yang terbentuk pada tanggal 3 hingga 11 November 2013 dan merupakan salah satu badai terkuat yang pernah terbentuk di Samudra Pasifik Barat. Bedasarkan data keluaran model Weather Research and Forecasting-Advance Research WRF (WRF-ARW), dilakukan analisis kondisi unsur cuaca di pusat siklon Haiyan selama perkembangan siklon tersebut. Unsur cuaca yang diamati meliputi kecepatan angin lapisan, kelembaban udara lapisan, suhu permukaan laut, tekanan permukaan dan curah hujan. Hasil keluaran model WRF menunjukkan bahwa kecepatan angin terus meningkat selama perkembangan Haiyan hingga mencapai 118 knot. Terdapat lapisan udara yang sangat lembab dengan persentase kelembaban relatif rata-rata selama perkembangan siklon Haiyan sekitar 95,87%. Suhu permukaan laut sekitar 29,9á´¼C di lokasi pembentukan dan terus mengalami penurunan sampai siklon Haiyan lenyap. Tekanan permukaan dibawah 1000 mb dan terus menurun hingga 952,37 mb seiring dengan meningkatnya status siklon Haiyan. Curah hujan di sekitar pusat badai sangat lebat dan menyebar cukup luas dari pusat badai. Hasil track siklon menunjukan bahwa Haiyan yang terbentuk di koordinat 6,4á´¼LU dan 155á´¼BT ini bergerak menuju lintang yang lebih tinggi menjauhi ekuator dan mulai lenyap di sekitar koordinat 22,87á´¼LU dan 106,9á´¼BT.
