Estimasi Potensi Tenaga Arus Laut Permukaan sebagai Pembangkit Listrik di Perairan Selatan Selat Makassar

Penelitian mengenai perhitungan potensi tenaga arus laut pemukaan sebagai pembangkit listrik di perairan selatan Selat Makassar telah dilakukan dengan menggunakan data kecepatan angin ECMWF dari tahun 2005-2016. Perhitungan dilakukan pada 10 titik lokasi dan ditinjau berdasarkan empat kondisi musim di Indonesia yaitu pada musim Barat, musim Peralihan I, musim Timur, dan musim Peralihan II. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rata-rata daya listrik saat musim Barat bernilai 21,725 Watt, musim Peralihan I 0,004 Watt, musim Timur 150,505 Watt, dan musim Peralihan II 12,34 Watt. Lokasi yang berpotensi untuk pemanfaatan energi listrik pada musim Barat, Timur, dan Peralihan II yaitu perairan Kepulauan Masalembu (Provinsi Jawa Timur).
