Identifikasi Struktur Bawah Permukaan Area Sumber Air Panas Non-Vulkanik di Kabupaten Sanggau Berdasarkan Citra Satelit ERS-1 dan Geosat

Gravitasi perekaman satelit radar altimetry telah diaplikasian untuk mengidentifikasi struktur bawah permukaan pada area sumber air panas non-vulkanik Ai Sipatn Lotup di Kabupaten Sanggau. Anomali gravitasi udara bebas atau FAA yang merupakan data pada penelitian ini kemudian diolah melalui proses berupa koreksi data yang tediri dari koreksi Bouguer, koreksi medan (topografi), pengangkatan ke atas, dan pemodelan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis sebaran densitas batuan dan mengidentifikasi struktur bawah permukaan di area sumber air panas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebaran densitas batuan bawah permukaan diperoleh nilai yang bervariasi. Densitas tertinggi bernilai 2,837 g/cm3 berupa batusabak yang merupakan jenis batuan metamorf, sedangkan densitas terendah bernilai 2,471 g/cm3 berupa batuserpih yang merupakan jenis batuan sedimen. Hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan bahwa struktur bawah permukaan berupa lapisan batuan sedimen dan batuan metamorf yang saling menerobos dan membentuk kontak geologi.
