Perbandingan Kapasitansi dari Beberapa Jenis Bahan Menggunakan Kapasitor Silinder

Abstrak
Telah dilakukan penelitian tentang nilai kapasitansi dari dua belas jenis bahan menggunakan kapasitor silinder. Penelitian menggunakan bahan dielektrik berupa cairan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya perbedaan kapasitansi dari bahan dielektrik cair yang digunakan. Semakin cepat bahan dielektrik cair terpolarisasi karena pengaruh medan listrik, maka nilai kapasitansi kapasitor akan rendah. Dari hasil penelitian dan pengolahan data, bahan dielektrik yang mempunyai nilai kapasitansi terbesar adalah air suling atau aquades yaitu 0,796 nF dengan konstanta relatifnya 116,726 F/m. Bahan dielektrik yang mempunyai nilai kapasitansi terendah adalah premium yaitu 0,064 nF dengan konstanta relatifnya adalah 1,953 F/m. Perbandingan nilai kapasitansi udara, air suling (aquades), dan alkohol dari hasil penelitian dengan hasil perhitungan secara teoritis tidak berbeda secara signifikan. Metode yang digunakan penelitian ini terlebih dahulu mengukur kapasitansi setiap jenis bahan dielektrik dan membandingkan hasilnya pengukuran dengan perhitungan teoritis untuk jenis bahan dielektrik udara, air dan alcohol.References
