Komputasi Numerik Persamaan Dinamika Nonlinier Untuk Pendulum Elastik dengan Massa Berubah

Gerak osilasi pada pendulum merupakan salah satu kajian dasar dari fisika. Pada beberapa kasus dari fenomena alam dapat dianalisa dengan pendekatan gerak osilasi pendulum. Berkurangnya massa dari pendulum elastik merupakan salah satu jenis kasus yang cukup menarik, dikarenakan pada kasus semacam ini penyederhanaan bentuk gaya F = ma tidak dapat digunakan dan dibutuhkan beberapa penyesuaian dalam penulisan bentuk persamaan. Penelitian yang dilakukan kali ini merupakan penelitian lanjutan dari Rodigues tentang analisis gerak osilasi massa berkurang, dengan menambahkan variasi sudut dan efek redaman. Pembentukan persamaan gerak dari sistem pendulum elastik teredam massa berkurang dibentuk oleh persamaan Lagrangian sistem yang ditentukan dari energi kinetik dan energi potensial sistem serta disipasi gaya pada sistem. Penyelesaian yang didapat dari Lagrangian diselesaikan secara numerik dengan metode Runge-Kutta orde 4. Dari hasil yang diproleh didapatkan kesimpulan bahwa Amplitudo osilasi berkurang seiring dengan berjalannya waktu, Bentuk pola gerak dari sistem dibentuk oleh superposisi keadaan osilasi sudut dan keadaan osilasi perubahan , yang dimana perubahan pada sistem dengan variasi memberikan respon yang lebih sensitif pada pembentukan pola gerak sistem.
