Studi Distribusi Tingkat Bahaya Kebakaran Menggunakan Fire Weather Index (FWI) di Kalimantan Barat

Telah dilakukan berdasarkan perhitungan indeks Fire Weather Index (FWI) di daerah Kalimantan Barat data suhu udara, kelembapan relatif, kecepatan angin dan curah hujan pada tahun 2015-2019 berdasarkan data ECMWF ( European Center for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts ) untuk mengetahui tingkat bahaya kebakaran hutan dan lahan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan indeks FWI rata-rata tahunan tertinggi terjadi pada tahun 2015 dengan nilai sebesar 1,74 dan pada tahun 2019 dengan nilai 2,23 yang termasuk kelas FWI sedang. Sedangkan FWI rata-rata bulanan terjadi pada bulan Juli, Agustus, September dengan nilai berturut-turut sebesar 3,37, 4,25, dan 3,55 yang termasuk dalam kelas FWI sedang. Nilai FWI yang tinggi akan diikuti oleh banyak titik api ( hotspot) dengan nilai koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,98 yang memiliki tingkat hubungan yang sangat tinggi.References
