Identifikasi Struktur Bawah Permukaan Menggunakan Data Anomali Magnetik Lembar Kupang

Telah dilakukan identifikasi struktur bawah permukaan menggunakan data anomali magnetik pada daerah Kupang, Nusa Tenggara Timur dengan koordinat 10 °7"™6,3" - 10 °23"™9,2" LS dan 123 °30"™0,8" "“ 123 °48"™2,9" BT. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian merupakan data sekunder yang diperoleh dari Pusat Survei Geologi (PSG) Bandung. Data magnetik diolah menggunakan transformasi reduksi ke kutub, transformasi kontinuasi ke atas kemudian dilakukan pemodelan 3D yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui struktur bawah permukaan. Model 3D suseptibilitas daerah penelitian memiliki nilai suseptibilitas antara -0,0051 hingga 0,0068 SI. Berdasarkan hasil penampang 2D dari model 3D pada tiga sayatan disusun oleh batu gamping, batu lempung, dan batu pasir, batu serpih. Pada setiap penampang diduga terdapat mineral yang bersifat non-magnetik yaitu mineral kuarsa dan mineral kalsit.
