Analisis Terjadinya Hujan Asam di Kota Pontianak Akibat Emisi Gas Dari Industri dan Kendaraan

Telah dilakukan penelitian hubungan antara emisi bahan pencemar dari industri dan kendaraan terhadap potensi hujan asam di Kota Pontianak pada tahun (2007-2011). Konsumsi bahan bakar solar mencapai 54,36%, bensin 31,73% dan minyak tanah 13,91%. Emisi gas yang dihasilkan dari 3 jenis bahan bakar tersebut, gas CO2 mencapai 43,76%, gas SO2 38,82% dan gas NO2 17,41%. Koefisien korelasi emisi gas SO2 lebih besar dibandingkan dengan gas CO2 dan NO2. Solar merupakan penyumbang gas emisi SO2 terbesar daripada bahan bakar lainnya, sehingga lebih berpengaruh terhadap potensi terjadinya hujan asam. Hasil estimasi pH air hujan akibat emisi gas CO2, SO2 dan NO2 menggunakan metode jaringan syaraf tiruan (JST) diperoleh nilai koefisien korelasi pada tahap pengujian adalah 0,836, dengan demikian pH air hujan dapat diprediksi menggunakan JST dengan gas CO2, SO2 dan NO2 sebagai prediktornya.
