Dosis Paparan Radiasi Foto Thorax Pada Pasien Dewasa Laki-Laki dan Perempuan

Telah dilakukan studi dosis paparan radiasi foto thorax pada pasien dewasa laki-laki dan perempuan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan dosis paparan radiasi foto thorax yang diterima oleh pasien laki-laki dan perempuan saat menjalani pemeriksaan radiodiagnostik, serta menganalisis pengaruh nilai ekspose terhadap nilai dosis paparan radiasi pasien laki-laki dan perempuan. Berdasarkan pengaruh nilai ekspose terhadap nilai dosis paparan radiasi pasien laki-laki dan perempuan. diperoleh hasil pada pasien laki-laki mulai dari usia 26 sampai 40 tahun adalah 0,0775 mGy sampai 0,3008 mGy, dengan nilai rata-rata yaitu 0,1630 mGy. Sedangkan pada pasien dewasa perempuan mulai dari usia 28 sampai 45 tahun, dosis paparan yang diterima adalah 0,0842 mGy sampai 0,2514 mGy, dengan nilai rata-rata yaitu 0,1654 mGy. Nilai Berat badan pada pasien sangat berpengaruh pada nilai ekspose dari tegangan (kV), dan nilai arus waktu (mAs). Nilai ekspose yang diberikan semakin besar maka dosis paparan radiasi yang diterima oleh pasien semakin tinggi.
