Simulasi Monte Carlo untuk Menentukan Dosis Radiasi Linac pada Jaringan Lunak dengan Penyisipan Organ Paru-Paru dan Ovarium

Dalam perencanaan terapi radiasi pada pasien, penting untuk menghitung dosis serap guna memastikan keakuratan dan keamanan pemberian radiasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan program MCNPX untuk mensimulasikan radiasi LINAC pada phantom homogen dan nonhomogen (paru-ovarium) dengan tujuan mengevaluasi karakteristik kurva Percentage Depth Dose (PDD) serta dosis serap yang diterima oleh ovarium. Simulasi dilakukan dengan memvariasikan Source Surface Distance (SSD) pada 97,5 cm; 100 cm; 102,5 cm dan 103 cm. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa karakteristik kurva PDD terhadap phantom homogen dan nonhomogen berbeda, dengan deviasi pada phantom nonhomogen mencapai 56,7%, 49,7%, 48,6%, dan 45,6%. Selain itu, hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ovarium menerima dosis radiasi paling rendah pada jarak SSD 103 cm. Temuan ini dapat dijadikan sebagai referensi dalam proses Treatment Planning System (TPS) dalam terapi radiasi.
