Studi Awal Pembuatan Sel Surya Berbasis CdO/Cu2O dengan Teknik Imersi Kimia

Telah dilakukan penelitian tentang sel surya berbasis CdO/Cu2O dengan menggunakan teknik imersi kimia, yang diimobilisasi pada substrat kaca yang telah dilapisi ITO (Indium Tin Oxide). Penelitian ini dibatasi pada pengamatan tentang pengaruh rasio konsentrasi kadmium asetat dihidrat (Cd(CH3COO)2.2H2O) dan natrium hidroksida (NaOH) terhadap karakteristik sel surya yang berbasis CdO/Cu2O yang dihasilkan. Sel surya yang telah dibuat kemudian diuji untuk mengetahui karakteristik arus dan tegangannya, diukur di bawah penyinaran lampu halogen 250W pada intensitas 34mW/cm2. Berdasarkan hasil pengukuran yang dilakukan diketahui bahwa arus dan tegangan yang paling baik diperoleh saat konsentrasi cadmium asetat dihidrat dan natrium hidroksida masing-masing 0,05M dan 0,1M dengan ketebalan 0,235 µm. Sel surya yang dihasilkan dalam penelitian ini memiliki efisiensi 2,13%, 1,18%, dan 1,13%, masing-masing dengan perbandingan konsentrasi (0,05M:0,1M), (0,1M:0,2M), dan (0,2:0,3M).
