Rancang Bangun Alat Ukur Kadar Gula Darah pada Urin dengan Metode Evanescent

Telah dilakukan rancang bangun alat ukur kadar gula darah secara non-invasive menggunakan sampel urin dengan memanfaatkan pelemahan gelombang evanescent. Alat ukur kadar gula darah yang didesain berbasis Arduino UNO, laser dioda, serat optik, dan fotodioda. Intensitas cahaya terpandu mengalami atenuasi akibat terjadinya interaksi antara molekul glukosa dalam urin dengan gelombang evanescent pada bidang batas core-cladding serat optik. Interaksi tersebut diperkuat dengan mengupas sebagian cladding serat optik. Panjang pengupasan cladding serat optik divariasikan sebesar 1 cm, 2 cm, 3 cm, 4 cm, dan 5 cm. Penurunan intensitas cahaya terukur sebagai perubahan tegangan keluaran fotodioda yang berkorelasi dengan nilai kosentrasi glukosa. Alat ukur gula darah yang didesain dapat menampilkan hasil pengukuran kadar gula darah pada layar LCD. Hasil pengukuran menunjukkan bahwa tegangan keluaran dari sensor berkurang secara linier terhadap kadar gula darah dengan sensitivitas dan ketepatan rata-rata pengukuran adalah.
