Telah dilakukan penelitian untuk mengidentifikasi adanya sesar dan jenis batuan di sekitar daerah aliran sungai (DAS) Jeneberang, Kecamatan Parangloe, Kabupaten Gowa, Sulawesi Selatan. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan Metode Geolistrik Tahanan Jenis dengan Konfigurasi elektroda Wenner, sebanyak 2 lintasan dengan masing "“ masing panjang lintasan 150 meter. Hasil penyelidikan menunjukkan adanya struktur sesar minor yang telah tertimbun oleh produk-produk muda hasil longsoran gunung Bawakareng. Sesar minor tersebut dicirikan oleh adanya rekahan dan kekar-kekar di sekitar DAS Jeneberang dan penyebaran batuan ubahan di sekitar lokasi penelitian.
