Analisis Respons Optis Nanokomposit: Pengaruh Faktor Geometris

Pada penelitian ini, dilakukan studi teoritik respons optis sistem nanokomposit yang terdiri dari semiconductor quantum dot (SQD) dan metal nanoparticle (MNP) elips. SQD dimodelkan secara kuantum sebagai three-level system bertipe V sedangkan MNP dimodelkan dalam kerangka teori elektromagnetika klasik. Fokus studi diarahkan pada investigasi pengaruh faktor geometris, yaitu aspek rasio MNP, terhadap modifikasi respons optis nanokomposit. Formalisme density matrix dengan aplikasi persamaan Liouville"“von Neumann digunakan untuk menganalisis dinamika optis sistem. Hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa variasi aspek rasio MNP dapat menyebabkan modifikasi pada dinamika populasi SQD. Nanokomposit dengan aspek rasio MNP bernilai q=0,5 memiliki frekuensi osilasi populasi yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan nanokomposit dengan q=1,5 . Ditemukan pula bahwa nanokomposit dengan q = 0,5 mencapai keadaan tunaknya pada interval waktu yang lebih lama dibandingkan q=1,5. Optical instability dapat muncul saat nanokomposit dengan dieksitasi dengan medan berintensitas tinggi, I=10^4.7 W/cm^2, Saat fenomena ini terjadi, populasi SQD mengalami osilasi secara lestari dan sistem tidak pernah mencapai keadaan tunaknya.
