Inventarisasi Jenis Ikan Subkelas Elasmobranchii di Teluk Nuri Kecamatan Pulau Maya Kabupaten Kayong Utara

Laju kepunahan Elasmobranchii semakin meningkat disebabkan aktivitas manusia dan tingginya permintaan pasar terhadap daging pari dan sirip hiu. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui jenis "“ jenis Elasmobranchii yang terdapat di Teluk Nuri Kayong Utara. Metode yang digunakan yaitu metode survei dengan mengumpulkan semua jenis ikan pari dan hiu yang tertangkap oleh nelayan. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan September sampai Oktober 2016. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh 1 Famili Dasyatidae, terdiri dari 4 spesies pari yang ditemukan berupa Dasyatis zugei (pari kikir/toka-toka), Himantura uarnacoides (pari lumpur), Himantura walga (pari kikir/toka-toka), Pastinachus solocirostris (pari bendera). Berdasarkan data dan perhitungan jenis yang paling banyak ditemukan yaitu Dasyatis zugei sebanyak 19 individu. Himantura uarnacoides ditemukan sebanyak 3 individu dan termasuk dalam daftar IUCN dengan status terancam.Downloads
