Mudskipper is a fish that able to adapt in mangrove ecosystem. One of the locations of many mudskipper can be found is at Mempawah Mangrove Park, one of ecotourism location in West Kalimantan. This research aims to determine density and growth pattern of mudskipper (Periophthalmus chrysospilos) in Mempawah Mangrove Park. The studies was carried out in April to May 2019. Sampling area was carried out in three station, each station consist of 4 plot size sampling 10 x 10 m. The technique of the studies is purposive random sampling by using nets at high tide and at low tide using fishing tools with hand collecting. The result of total fish density in Mempawah Mangrove Park is 0.4075 individual/m2 with total number of mudskipper is 163 individuals. The growth pattern of the fishes is around 0.4826 so the growth of the fishes' length is more dominant than its weight (b <3) which show a negative allometric growth pattern. Environmental factors that can support the mudskipper are water temperature, DO, CO2, water pH, soil pH and salinity.Downloads
