Actinomycetes are known as organisms involved in degradation of organic compounds, typically characterized by filamentous growth. Actinomycetes, as cosmopolitan bacteria, can produce secondary metabolites such as antibacterial compounds. The aim of this research is to determine the total density and percentage of the total amount originating from Nipa palm leaf litter. Isolation was performed using the pour plate method with heat pre-treatment using selective media Starch Casein Agar (SCA). Actinomycetes density calculation was conducted using the Standard Plate Count (SPC) method. The research results revealed that the total density of Actinomycetes was 3,3x102 CFU/g with a percentage of 5%.
