Lactic acid bacteria have several growth phases including lag phase, exponential phase, stationary phase, and death phase. This study aims to determine the growth phases of Lactic Acid Bacteria (LAB) that have been isolated from the fermentation of Apus Bamboo shoots (Gigantochloa apus) in Bukit Teluk Bayur, Ketapang Regency. The method used in this study is turbidimetry method using spectrophotometry to count the number of cells over 24 hours in MRSB (de Mann Rogosa Sharpe Broth) media. The results of this study show that the growth phase of lactic acid bacteria isolates, namely the lag or adaptation phase, lasts from hour 0 to hour 2 for AKP 2 (Lactobacillus plantarum) and lasts from hour 0 to hour 3 for AKP 4, 6, and 7 (Lactobacillus reuteri). The exponential phase lasts from hour 2 to hour 5 for AKP 2 and lasts from hour 3 to 6 for AKP 4, 6, and 7, while the stationary phase lasts from hour 5 to hour 24 for AKP 2 and from hour 6 to 24 for AKP 4, 6, and 7.
