Abstract

Macrofungi are an important component in the sustainability of forest ecosystems. This study aims to determine the types of Basidiomycota fungi found in the Juring Rainforest, Simpang Dua District, Ketapang Regency. The sampling technique of macroscopic fungi is purposive sampling technique with the cruising method. The research findings showed that there were 5 genera of macroscopic fungi consisting of 2 orders and 3 families. The most macroscopic fungi found came from the order Agaricales with 3 genera and the order Polyporales 2 genera. Macroscopic fungi found in the Juring Rainforest, Simpang Dua District, Ketapang Regency mostly grow on soil and living tree substrates.
