The Sungai Raya Dalam Ditch plays an important role in regulating water disposal in the area. It is influenced by the tides of the Kapuas River and consists of peat water upstream. In order to understand the fish species present in the area, a study was conducted from February to April 2024 in Sungai Raya Dalam Ditch, Kubu Raya Regency. The sampling method used was purposive sampling with 4 stations and 3 repetitions. A total of 11 species from 8 families were identified. The Osphronemidae family was the most diverse, with 4 species recorded. The most abundant fish species found was Pterygoplichthys disjunctivus. The environmental conditions at the research site were unfavorable, characterized by poor water quality, leading to the dominance of fish species that have labyrinth organs to adapt to these conditions.
