The leaf litter of mango (Mangifera indica) conduced of phenol compound residues which can be used to inhibit the growth of other plants as a bioherbicide. This study aims to determine the concentration of leaf litter mango extract to inhibit the growth of grinting weeds (Cynodon dactylon). This study was conducted at the gauze house of Biology Departement and Chemistry Laboratory, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, University of Tanjungpura Pontianak. The research began in April to August 2014, it used a complete randomized design with five repetitions. The treatments consisted of control, concentration of the extract as much as 25%, 35%, 45%, and 55%. The results of this research showed that the extract concentration of 35% is the lowest concentration that can inhibit seed germination and growth of the weedsDownloads
