One type of freshwater fish in the Sepandan Resort of Lake Sentarum National Park West Kalimantan Province is Datnioides microlepis. D. microlepis has high potential economic value as ornamental fish as well as consumption fish. This study was aimed to identify the morphological characteristics and width of the black vertical line (bar) with environmental conditions in the waters of Sepandan Resort TNDS. A total of 25 samples were obtained through passive methods. Based on the morphometric results of Principal Component Analysis (PCA), Principal Component (PC) 1- 2 was selected with a percentage of variance reaching 74.42% and the characters of head length (HL), dorsal fin length (DBL), 6 width of the middle bar and 6 width of the ventral distinguishing characters with a loading score of 0.95, 0.95, 0.87 and 0.84. The results of physical and chemical parameters in the waters support that D. microlepis can live and adapt and reproduce.
