Abstract

Garbage or waste is a problem that is happening today. The process of burning garbage in an open environment can turn on an uncontrolled system and cause disturbance in the surrounding environment. In this study, researchers designed and built an incinerator whose fuel uses used oil waste by using a burner furnace as a combustion system. The purpose of this study was to see how the incinerator worked, the incinerator test parameters, the highest temperature produced from the dry plastic waste disposal system and dry leaves and the waste space that could be accommodated in the combustion chamber (chamber). From the design of the incinerator, there are 5 main parts, namely the main combustion room, chimney, filter room, fuel tank and burner furnace with specifications of the main combustion chamber with dimensions of 930 x 580 mm with the volume of waste in the system space 0,245 m3. or 8 -15 kg of waste in one combustion system and the highest temperature in the combustion chamber is 443,20C for dry leaf waste and 480,70C for dry plastic waste as for the efficiency of the incinerator, namely 96,94% dry leaf waste and 90,68% waste dry plastic.
