Abstract

Vibration is a vibrating motion, a mechanical system and its dynamic conditions. These movements can be continuous, regularly repeated, or random and irregular. There are several ways to measure and analyze vibration, but they are quite expensive. This problem can be overcome, because now many vibration monitoring devices have been developed using the technology Micro Electro Mechanical System (MEMS) Accelerometer low-cost. Furthermore, in this study, consider the cost analysis of the design of a vibration measuring instrument using the accelerometer ADXL345. The method used in this study is a method of making and improving a specific product. From the results of the cost analysis of designing a simple vibration measuring instrument using the sensor accelerometer ADXL345 which is connected to the software MATLAB, the required cost is Rp. 127,000 and requires supporting components such as: Arduino nano, PCB, Arduino cable and ADXL345 sensor.
