Optimalisasi Rancangan Alat Pengering Akar Kayu Bajakah Dengan Memanfaatkan Tenaga Surya

Bajakah has become the center of public attention because it is believed to be able to cure cancer . In West Kalimantan , the potential for bajakah is quite large. So far, people have used sunlight for drying by direct drying , but with climate change, the drying process has been hampered . This study aims to design and modify the tumble dryer, to obtain the optimal design of the tumble dryer so as to speed up the drying process. Study this use method studies literature and methods experiment direct with to do field data collection . Study this has succeed design and modify tool dryer pirate , and have get optimal design , with comparison temperature in room dryer and temperature environment in 9 experiments conducted got strengthening temperature highest on variation test corner collector 10 ° and distance glass to a 30mm plate that is of 1.684, for optimization carried out use method taguchi got the highest value of s/n ratio of 4.38115 in the experiment corner collector 10 ° and distance glass to 30mm plate.
