Abstract

Abstrak- Monitoring kehadiran dosen dan mahasiswa menjadi salah satu kegiatan proses belajar mengajar, pada program percepatan angka partisipasi kasar, di fakultas teknik program studi teknik informatika universitas tanjungpura pontianak. Didalam penerapannya, proses monitoring kehadiran mengajar dosen dan kehadiran kuliah mahasiswa masih menggunakan pemberkasan manual. Dengan metode tersebut, dinilai masih memiliki beberapa masalah, salah satunya absensi kehadiran dosen menjadi kosong saat berkas tidak sampai kepada dosen dengan kendala tertentu. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan sebuah aplikasi yang dapat menggantikan metode pemberkasan dalam melakukan monitoring kehadiran dosen dan mahasiswa menggunakan fingerprint. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah merancang dan membangun sebuah aplikasi yang dapat melakukan pemantauan kehadiran dosen dan mahasiswa. Dalam pencatatan kehadiran, dosen cukup meletakkan jari pada alat fingerprint dan data otomatis masuk kedalam server. Dengan demikian proses pemantauan kehadiran dosen dan mahasiswa dapat dilakukan secara komputerisasi.
