The process of counseling student thesis has
been done often assessed sluggish, causing students
and faculty not to a strict schedule so that construction
consultation thesis thesis students become protracted
and even abandoned. Therefore, for the sake of time
efficiency and performance of lecturers and students,
we need a system that can monitor and report on
progress of thesis students to students, faculty and
parents of students. The purpose of this study was to
produce a system of monitoring the development of
information and early warning of thesis-based SMS
gateway that can assist in the completion of the thesis
writing process to run smoothly and optimally.
Information systems are built to provide student
progress reports skirpsi, recapitulation students
mentored by faculty, students report past its guidance
and early warning in the form of SMS messages
automatically sent to the mobile phones of students,
faculty and parents of students if there are students
who do not do counseling thesis within the allotted
time.
The results of the analysis and testing of black-box
methods shows that an information system monitoring
and early warning of thesis-based SMS gateway can
run well and help facilitate communication between
faculty and students in the process of ongoing
counseling thesis.
