Rancang Bangun Aplikasi SOS Broadcast Lokasi dan Status Keamanan User Sebagai Sarana Cepat Tanggap Tindak Kejahatan Dini Menggunakan Location Based Service Berbasis Android

Abstract

Kebutuhan akan rasa aman adalah kebutuhan pokok yang harus dipenuhi. Tanpa adanya rasa aman kehidupan masyarakat tidak akan berjalan dengan baik. Oleh karena itu banyak cara yang telah ditempuh untuk memenuhi kebutuhan akan rasa aman tersebut seperti instalasi CCTV, penjadwalan ronda hingga pendirian pos-pos polisi dan satpam. Upaya yang telah dilakukan sebelumnya dirasa kurang cukup memberikan rasa aman karena sulitnya mencari pertolongan dalam keadaan darurat saat malam hari dan kondisi daerah sekitar sepi. Pada penelitian ini, dibuat sebuah aplikasi berbasis Android menggunakan Location Based Service yang diharapkan dapat membantu masyarakat memperoleh rasa aman. Pengguna dapat mendaftarkan keluarga dan kerabat dalam daftar kontak darurat pada aplikasi. Aplikasi juga dilengkapi dengan fitur push notification ke pengguna aplikasi terdekat dan petugas keamanan dalam keadaan darurat. Dengan adanya fitur ini, pengguna dapat memberitahukan lokasinya lewat aplikasi dan menyebarkan informasi tersebut dengan rata-rata 1,53 detik pada ruang terbuka dan 1,56 pada ruang tertutup serta 1,57 detik pada kondisi cuaca cerah dan 2,62 detik pada kondisi cuaca hujan berdasarkan hasil pengujian response time. Bersasarkan hasil pengujian akurasi, aplikasi dapat menerima dan menyebarkan lokasi pengguna dengan rata-rata akurasi 4,6 hingga 14,2 meter sehingga dapat dikatakan cukup akurat. Aplikasi juga dapat berjalan dengan baik pada perangkat mobile Android versi 4.4 (Jelly Bean) hingga 6.0.1 (Marshmallow).
