Abstract

Dalam penentuan calon mata kuliah pilihan oleh Jurusan Teknik Elektro Fakultas Teknik Universitas Tanjungpura Pontianak dinilai dari empat kriteria yaitu Nilai Mata Kuliah, Referensi, Lapangan Pekerjaan, Minat dan Bakat. Demi efesiensi dan efektifitas mahasiswa maka pengambilan keputusan yang tepat dalam menentukan mata kuliah pilihan sangat diperlukan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menghasilkan sebuah Sistem Pendukung Keputusan dengan metode AHP (Analytical Hierarchy Process) berbasis desktop yang dapat membantu mahasiswa dalam memilih mata kuliah pilihan. Langkah penelitian dimulai dengan menganalisis sistem pemilihan Mata Kuliah Pilihan yang digunakan di Jurusan Elektro Fakultas Teknik Universitas Tanjungpura Pontianak. Langkah selanjutnya adalah melakukan analisis kebutuhan sistem dan perancangan sistem. Perancangan sistem dilakukan dalam 4 tingkatan proses. Proses pertama, perancangan alir informasi berupa diagram aliran data yang memuat aliran kerja sistem yang dirancang. Proses kedua, perancangan subsistem model berupa perancangan model Pemilihan Mata Kuliah Pilihan dengan metode AHP. Proses ketiga, perancangan subsistem basisdata yang terdiri dari 4 tingkatan proses yaitu tahap analisis, tahap perancangan logik, tahap perancangan fisik dan tahap implementasi. Dan proses terakhir, perancangan subsistem antarmuka berupa perancangan struktur menu dan layout antarmuka sistem yang dibangun. Hasil analisis dan pengujian dengan metode black-box menunjukkan bahwa SPK Pemilihan Mata Kuliah Pilihan dapat membantu mahasiswa dalam memilih mata kuliah pilihan berdasarkan bobot yang didapat melalui perhitungan dengan metode AHP dengan waktu yang relatif lebih singkat dan hasil yang optimal.
