Implementasi Sistem Informasi Keragaman Jenis Burung Air Berbasis Citizen Science pada Kawasan Hutan Mangrove Peniti Kalimantan Barat

Abstract

Informasi mengenai keragaman jenis burung air di suatu wilayah dapat digunakan untuk penelitian di berbagai bidang ilmu pengetahuan. Tidak adanya informasi yang mudah diakses dan kurang nya tenaga peneliti di lapangan menjadi suatu hambatan untuk mengumpulkan dan mendokumentasikan data jenis burung air yang berada di suatu wilayah salah satunya di wilayah hutan mangrove Peniti Kabupaten Mempawah Provinsi Kalimantan Barat. Untuk itu, dibutuhkan suatu media informasi yang bisa mempermudah peneliti mendata persebaran burung air yang hidup di wilayah tersebut dengan memanfaatkan peran sukarelawan dalam mengumpulkan data atau melalui metode penelitian citizen science. Hasil yang di dapat juga harus dapat di akses oleh masyarakat secara luas. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menghasilkan sistem informasi berbasis citizen science yang dapat diimplementasikan dalam mengumpulkan data keanekaragaman burung air di wilayah hutan Mangrove Peniti Kabupaten Mempawah melalui website yang dibuat. Alat perancangan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan Data Flow Diagram dan pengujian sistem dilakukan dengan membagikan kuesioner  terhadap 20 responden pengunjung website, 5 mahasiswa organisasi penelitian Universitas Tanjungpura Pontianak dan 5 orang masyarakat di wilayah hutan Mangrove Peniti , sebagian besar hasil menunjukkan penelitian ini berjalan dengan baik dan sistem yang di buat dapat di implementasikan dalam mengumpulkan data burung air di lapangan melalui metode citizen science.
