The process of writing a thesis or
a final project is the final step that must be taken
by a college students which in the process guided
by two lecturers. In practical way, this final
project guidance activities carried out by
discussion, question and answer, providing
suggestion and other activities. Informatics
Engineering Study Program implement two stages
in making final project that is Outline or Final
Project One (TA1) and Thesis or Final Project
Two (TA2). These two stages through intensive
counseling process with both lecturers.
Constraints faced in the counseling process that is
students and lecturers often can not met due to the
lack of time suitability or availability time
schedule between two sides as well as the
ignorance of students about the lecturer"™s schedule.
Purpose of this research is to produce a final
project support system that can assist both student
and lecturer in counseling process, become a
forum of communication between both lecturers
and can be monitored by The Head of Study
Program and The Head of Department in its
implementation. Design tools in this research is
using Data Flow Diagram and Entity Relationship
Diagram.The research testing is using Black Box
and User Acceptance Test method which then
calculated using LSR method. This research
produced a final project guidance support system
that can assist the lecturers and student in
counseling with real-time notifications via email.
