Sistem Informasi Saran Karir Mahasiswa Berbasis Web

Pengolahan informasi pada perguruan tinggi menjadi komponen krusial didalam era digital ini. Namun, hingga saat ini pengolahan informasi mahasiswa pada perguruan tinggi belum maksimal, seperti masih manualnya pengolahan data, termasuk pada pengolahan nilai perkuliahan mahasiswa. Nilai yang didapatkan mahasiswa pada setiap mata kuliah memiliki keterkaitan dengan keahlian dan kecenderungan peminatan bidang. Sehingga, nilai tersebut dapat menjadi cerminan bidang keahlian yang dikuasai oleh mahasiswa. Penelitian pengembangan situs saran karir ini bertujuan untuk membantu mahasiswa dalam melihat potensi bidang keahlian mereka dan potensi peminatan terhadap karir kedepan. Pada situs saran karir ini, data akademis mahasiswa diolah untuk memberikan saran tentang bidang minat yang dapat mereka ambil pada program studi Sistem Informasi. Lebih jauh lagi, data keahlian mahasiswa digunakan sebagai kata kunci pada pencarian situs situs lowongan pekerjaan untuk memberikan gambaran karir berdasarkan kebutuhan pasar tenaga kerja yang ada pada saat situs dijalankan. Hasil pengambilan data pada situs lowongan kerja diolah dengan metode ekstraksi regular expression menggunakan bahasa pemrograman hypertext preprocessor. Pengujian dilakukan pada situs saran karir dengan data akademis dapat menghasilkan saran karir yang sesuai dengan kecenderungan keahlian mereka. Hasil saran bidang minat memetakan sebanyak 52 mahasiswa cenderung kepada bidang minat Sains Data (Data Science), 39 mahasiswa cenderung kepada bidang minat ERP, dan 167 mahasiswa cenderung kepada bidang minat Audit TI. Sedangkan untuk saran karir diberikan berbeda-beda setiap mahasiswa dengan memilih nama mereka masing-masing pada situs.
