Integrasi Pengenalan Pelat Nomor Kendaraan untuk Otomasi Garasi Berbasis NI MyRIO

Kebutuhan akan sistem otomasi semakin meningkat, terutama dalam pengelolaan akses garasi untuk meningkatkan efisiensi dan keamanan. Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang dan mengimplementasikan sistem pintu garasi otomatis berbasis pengenalan pelat nomor kendaraan dengan penambahan sensor jarak menggunakan modul NI MyRIO sebagai pengendali utama. NI MyRIO dipilih karena kecepatan pemprosesan datanya dan mampu mengintegrasikan tegnologi pengolahan citra dengan algoritma cerdas dengan program LabVIEW. Sensor jarak digunakan untuk mengaktifkan kamera. Kamera digunakan untuk mengambil gambar. Gambar akan memasuki tahap pengolahan gambar, lokalisasi pelat nomor, segmentasi karakter, dan karakter akan diterjemahkan menjadi entri teks alfanumerik dengan teknik optical character recognition (OCR). Selanjutnya karakter terbaca akan dicocokkan dengan karakter yang dipilih dan tersimpan dalam database. Sistem dirancang agar dapat membuka dan menutup pintu garasi secara otomatis setelah validasi pelat nomor. Hasil pengujian sensor jarak menunjukkan error rata-rata sebesar 0.149%. Sistem mampu mengenali pelat nomor kendaraan dengan tingkat akurasi tinggi dalam kondisi pencahayaan normal tingkat akurasi 93.93%.
