Prototipe Sistem Identifikasi Kendaraan Bermotor Roda Dua (E-Razia) Berbasis RFID (Radio Frequency Identification)
Keywords:
Vehicle theft, identification system, RFIDAbstract
Two-wheeled vehicle is a means of
transportation that is vulnerable to theft crimes.
When the vehicle has successfully changed hands, the
criminals will seek to refine their crime operations.
For example, by creating its own vehicle registration,
so that the motorcycle can be sold like an official
product and to trick officers during raids vehicle. To
facilitate personnel in identifying the vehicle, the
vehicle identification system needs to be implemented.
Until now, officers conducted raids are ineffective
because criminals can easily fool the officers by
equipping vehicles with fake registration. Therefore,
designed a prototype system of two-wheeled motor
vehicle identification based RFID can help officers.
RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) is a device
that consists of the identification tag and reader
where each RFID tag has a unique ID so that it is
almost impossible duplicated. The test results show
that the system can help officers to identify vehicles.
