Focus and Scope
Aims and Objectives
The Journal of Pancasila and Citizenship Education (JPPKn) aims to provide an academic platform for scholars, researchers, educators, and practitioners to disseminate high-quality research and scholarship in citizenship education and civic studies.
The journal seeks to advance knowledge on the development of democratic citizenship, civic values, and civic engagement, particularly within the context of Indonesian society and its philosophical foundation, Pancasila, while engaging with broader global discussions on citizenship and democratic education.
Specifically, the objectives of the journal are to:
Promote scholarly discussion and empirical research in Pancasila and citizenship education.
Encourage interdisciplinary studies that examine citizenship from educational, social, political, cultural, and technological perspectives.
Contribute to the development of innovative pedagogical approaches in civic education.
Facilitate academic dialogue on contemporary challenges facing citizenship, democracy, and civic participation.
Disseminate research findings that support the development of responsible, democratic, and globally aware citizens.
Peer Review Process
Submitted papers are evaluated by anonymous referees by double-blind peer review for contribution, originality, relevance, and presentation. The Editor shall inform you of the results of the review as soon as possible, hopefully in 3 (three) weeks. The research article submitted to this online journal will be peer-reviewed at least 2 (two) reviewers. The accepted research articles will be available online following the journal peer-reviewing process.
