KETERAMPILAN GERAK FUNDAMENTAL SISWA BARU SEKOLAH DASAR KOTA PONTIANAK TAHUN 2016

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memperoleh gambaran terkait tingkat kemampuan keterampilan gerak fundamental siswa baru sekolah dasar tahun ajaran 2016/2017 Se-kota Pontianak. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian survei dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Penelitian dilakukan pada sekolah dasar di Kota Pontianak dengan sampel terdiri atas enam sekolah yang mewakili setiap kecamatan yang ada di Kota Pontianak dengan jumlah 356 siswa yang duduk di kelas satu tahun ajaran 2016/2017.
Hasil penelitian menunjukan keterampilan gerak fundamental siswa baru sekolah dasar di Kota Pontianak sebagian besar kemampuan gerak fundamental siswa berada pada tahap elementary (48,94%), kemudian sebanyak 40, 56% siswa kemampuan gerak fundamentalnya berada tahap mature, dan 10, 50% berada pada tahap initial. Hal ini menunjukkan keterampilan gerak fundamental siswa baru kota Pontianak berapa pada tahap elementary.
