Pendekatan One Health Manajemen Air Limbah Rumah Pemotongan Hewan Kota Tana Paser

Rumah Pemotongan Hewan (RPH) merupakan tempat pemotongan hewan untuk diolah menjadi daging yang siap dikonsumsi. Pendekatan One Health merupakan pendekatan transdisipliner yang mempertimbangkan kesehatan manusia, hewan, dan lingkungan. Manajemen air limbah rumah pemotongan hewan merupakan permasalahan yang penting karena dapat menimbulkan pencemaran lingkungan dan penyebaran bibit penyakit yang dapat mempengaruhi kesehatan manusia dan hewan. Desain penelitian deskriptif kualitatif yang akan mendeskripsikan fasilitas RPH, penerapan manajemen air limbah RPH, dan kualitas air limbah RPH dengan pendekatan one health, data diperoleh melalui observasi lapangan, wawancara, dan uji laboratorium. Hasil studi menemukan beberapa fasilitas RPH masih perlu dilengkapi, manajemen air limbah RPH tidak berfungsi optimal, kualitas air limbah untuk indikator BOD, COD, TSS, minyak dan lemak, dan pH tidak melebihi nilai ambang batas, adapun untuk indikator NH3-N telah melewati nilai ambang batas. Dari pendekatan One Health kesesuaian fasilitas, pengelolaan air limbah, dan kualitas air limbah di rumah pemotongan hewan sangat penting karena berdampak langsung terhadap kesehatan hewan, manusia, dan lingkungan.References
